Approximately 90% of respondents chose ‘Awareness among medical and allied healthcare professionals’ [728] as a top priority for the charity’s objectives in the next 12-24 months.
A little further behind, but clearly ahead of other important objectives was ‘Assisting with research across all symptoms’ [603] and ‘Wellbeing and Mental Health support for all ages’ [583].

The other responses on the survey were in a close group and returned the following scores:
‘Online forums and webinars’ [386]
‘Stickler people and families’ stories and video clips’ [366]
‘Networking with other organisations and reaching different communities’ [360]
‘Providing opportunities for families to get together locally’ [344]
‘Supporting benefits and entitlements’ [338]
The charity will be working with medical professionals and other organisations to start delivering across these objectives while also taking into account some great feedback and suggestions that were received as part of this survey.
“Thank you again” to everyone who participated and gave their input.
