Symptoms

Symptoms are variable in form and extent, and in many cases they become more evident in adulthood; by which time a child, teenager, and young adult may have already been affected, physically and mentally, through critical stages in their life. The condition affects males and females equally and can be inherited, or a person may be the first in the family with it.

Take a look at the diagram to see some of the ‘key indicators’ that we can be alerted to? Usually people with Stickler Syndrome won’t have all the symptoms, but they may already have been experiencing one, or some, of them.
