International Symposium (London)
Living Better
Saturday, 10 October 2026 (8am to 4.30pm)
Have you registered for free for this October's Second International Symposium hosted by the Marfan Foundation at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bloomsbury, London. The registration numbers are nearing capacity and it's likely a lot of people will miss out. We really hope to have a number of Stickler syndrome people/families in the general audience and to join us in the Stickler syndrome Breakout Room.
We are delighted to be collaborators for this event along with Annabelle's Challenge, Marfan Trust UK, The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, and Loeys Dietz. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to learn alongside other charities in the area of rare conditions.
Attendees can learn from medical experts from the UK, the US and around the world and general sessions will address Marfan, LDS, VEDS and Stickler syndrome with dedicated 'breakout' sessions focused on each condition. The content is designed for individuals and families living with these conditions and there will be ample time for questions. If you think it's not for you because it's about other conditions, there's a whole lot of common ground being covered.
We hope very much that this event will allow you to:
- Increase your understanding of your diagnosis
- Hear the latest updates on treatments and quality of life issues
- Get your questions answered by leading experts in their field
- Connect and collaborate with speakers and others in your area
- Meet some familiar medical professionals and people associated with Stickler Syndrome UK
Included in your day is Breakfast and a Networking Lunch.
Medical professionals and medical/nursing students are also welcome to attend this event.
Registration is free, but required and when you register you will receive a confirmation email and a reminder closer to the event date. Click the button in the header of this article or Register Here.
